Sanjay Sabha Live is a premium Carnatic concert series led by maestro Sanjay Subrahmanyan, accompanied by top-tier artists like S. Varadarajan (violin) and Neyveli B. Venkatesh (mridangam). The concerts present Carnatic music in its purest form—rich alapanas, challenging RTPs, and a diverse repertoire across Tamil, Telugu, Sanskrit, and Kannada.
Launched as a digital series in January 2021 during the pandemic, it evolved into Sanjay Sabha Live in late 2021 with curated in-person concerts. Known for innovation and depth, the series follows a rasika-first approach, attracting both seasoned listeners and first-time audiences worldwide. Hosted at leading venues in India and abroad, with recordings shared on YouTube, it makes world-class Carnatic music globally accessible.
Tamizhum Naanum (“Tamil and I”) is a signature thematic concert by Sangita Kalanidhi Sanjay Subrahmanyan, launched in 2018. The program is devoted entirely to Tamil compositions, celebrating the language’s lyrical depth and musical richness within Carnatic music.
Unlike conventional multilingual concerts, this is a full-length Tamil-only performance, featuring rare gems and timeless classics. The repertoire spans composers from the Azhwars and Bharati to Arunachala Kavi, Gopalakrishna Bharati, Papanasam Sivan, Dandapani Desigar, and the Sirkazhi Moovar, creating a powerful emotional and cultural connect with the audience.
